The mem stick
How does the TALKING NEWSPAPER work?

The Talking Newspaper is recorded in the CVTN Studio on Friday mornings. It is duplicated to individual memory sticks which are sent out weekly in a plastic pouch, and are sent back in the post after listening. Postage is free.

A Listener Support Group has been set up, to keep in touch with listeners on a regular basis. Group members answer any questions and solve any technical problems which may arise. Listeners are encouraged to give feedback on both the content and quality of the recordings.

Memory sticks are played on a special player which is loaned to the listener.

KALEIDOSCOPE, the Magazine recording, is sent out every three months to those receiving the Talking Newspaper, and is returned to the studio in the same way after listening.
