The Talking Newspaper is recorded in the CVTN Studio on Friday mornings. Individual CDs are sent out weekly in a plastic pouch, and are sent back in the post after listening. Postage is free.
A Listener Support Group has been set up, to keep in touch with listeners on a regular basis. Group members answer any questions and solve any technical problems which may arise. Listeners are encouraged to give feedback on both the content and quality of the CDs.
Discs are played on a normal CD player. We have a small stock of players which can be loaned out in the event of a listener not having a machine, or if problems arise.
KALEIDOSCOPE, the Magazine CD, is sent out automatically every three months to those receiving the Talking Newspaper, and is returned to the studio in the same way after listening.
